James J Purdy, MD FACOG

With over 50 years of experience in women’s healthcare, Dr. James Purdy serves as the Medical Director at Pampered Bodies, where he blends clinical expertise with a passion for integrative wellness. A board-certified OB-GYN, Dr. Purdy offers a range of medical services, including evaluations, gynecologic care, laser therapy, circumcisions and Botox. He is especially known for his work in laser vaginal rejuvenation, which he frequently recommends for its transformative benefits.

Known for his steady, personal, and highly skilled approach, Dr. Purdy ensures every client receives care tailored to their individual needs. His philosophy centers on providing real, results-driven care with a warm, professional touch.

Dr. Purdy is married to Sherry Purdy, owner of Pampered Bodies, and together they helped bring the spa’s vision to life alongside their daughter, Sherry Acton. He is the proud father of six children and “Papa” to 20 grandchildren—with great-grandchildren now on the way. Family is his greatest joy and accomplishment.

Outside of work, Dr. Purdy enjoys flying, boating, and model railroading. A fully rated pilot—just short of airline transport certification—he brings precision and dedication to everything he does, whether in the air or in the treatment room.
